The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide just south of Ivanhoe.
Sheriff’s Deputies were called out to an area near Road 160 and Avenue 320 just after 9am Tuesday morning. That’s where they found a male – dead of a possible gunshot wound.
The violent crimes unit and the crime lab will be at the scene all day, investigating.
Residents are asked to avoid the area that’s closed. CHP says SR 216 is closed at Road 160 and there’s no ETA for when it will re-open.
The Sheriff’s Office says it’s very early on in the investigation, and there are no suspects at this time.
