FRESNO (KMJ) – Fresno Police initially investigated a second shooting on the same street where a man was shot early Thursday morning. When officers arrived, they were told a 19-year old was shot by an unknown suspect.
But, Detectives eventually discovered the real story. Witnesses eventually told them a group of young men were inside an apartment on the 2500 block of West Fairmont near Marks. There, they were smoking pot and playing with a loaded handgun.
The gun went off, striking the 19-year old. Now, Police continue to search for the shooter, who could face possible criminal charges.
