(KMJ) Fresno Police say a shooting in broad daylight Sunday left one person dead and two others wounded.
The shooting happened just after 2pm at an apartment complex near Hawes and Delno.
Three men had been shot by a gunman who approached the group on foot. The suspect fled toward Fruit Ave. He has not been identified.
27 year old Tyrese Bennet was killed. Two other men, ages 25 and 29, survived their wounds.
This is Fresno’s 24th homicide of 2016.
The 23rd homicide of the year occurred early Sunday morning – around 4 a.m. – when 22 year old Robert Reynolds was gunned down in front of his apartment on Winery Ave.
Family members say Reynolds was an aspiring rapper who mentored young musicians. No arrests have been made in Reynolds’ murder.
