FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno Grizzlies’ right-hander Brady Rodgers has been named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year for the 2016 season.
He becomes the first pitcher in franchise history to win the award.
Rodgers so far this season has a 2.91 ERA over 21 starts. He’s gone 12-4 over that span, with 112 strikeouts over 129 innings pitched.
Rodgers has one scheduled start remaining with the Grizzlies as they finish out the season on the road – tonight (Wednesday), at Tacoma.
