AUDIO: Ag Overtime Bill on Hold

The California Assembly has postponed a vote on AB-1066, the farm overtime time.

The bill would require employers to pay farm workers overtime after 8 hours, instead of the current 10 hours, on a daily basis.

It’s authored by Democratic Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez of San Diego, who also authored an earlier version of it, but was defeated in the Assembly in June.
