Judge Tosses Starbucks Iced Coffee Lawsuit

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A federal lawsuit alleging that Starbucks puts too much ice in its cold beverages, has been tossed out.

A Los Angeles judge rejected claims that the coffee chain is shorting customer on quote “drinkable liquid.”

Starbucks argued that reasonable members of the public are not deceived by its practices.

Judge Percy Anderson noted in his ruling that, “as young children lean, they can increase the amount of beverage they receive, if they order no ice.”
