FRESNO (KMJ) – Detectives from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and Cal Fire investigators are both searching for a man suspected of arson and elder abuse.
Sheriff’s Spokesperson Tony Botti says on Sunday, 58 year-old Tom Rouse set his home on fire in the 17,000 Block of Parkcliffe lane.
On Monday, he tried to burn down his mother’s house in the 17,000 of Bluewater Bay Lane.
Rouse is described as 6-feet, 5-inches tall and 225 pounds, with brown eyes and hair, and a scar on his forearm.
Botti says Rouse was last seen riding a bicycle near a grocery near Chestnut and Shepherd Avenues in Northeast Fresno.
Rouse is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
