Study: Latinos Age at Slower Pace

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — According to a new UCLA study, Latinos age at a slower pace than other ethic groups.

Despite seeing higher rates of diabetes, Latinos in the U.S. live an average of 3 years longer than Caucasians, with a life expectancy of 82 years.

Researchers add that the blood and brain tissue of men appear to age more quickly, possibly explaining why women tend to have a higher life expectancy.
