FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A hiring fair was held Wednesday morning for employees of Initiative Foods, which burned to the ground Sunday in Sanger.
The blaze, still under investigation, left 120 people out of work.
Initiative Foods founder John Ipma tells KMJ News the response from the community and other companies has been remarkable.
About 30 employers have presented job opportunities to former employees of Initiative Foods.
This Saturday, a food drive will be held at 1880 Industrial Way in Sanger, just off North and Academy.
A GoFundMe page has also been established for the workers.
