Ex-Bulldog Pleads No Contest to Shooting Threats

PRYOR

FRESNO (KMJ) – A former Fresno State football player pleaded no contest Friday to making threats.

In January, Christian Malik Pryor threatened on the social media site Yik Yak to shoot students on the Fresno State campus.

Police say the 18 year old from Los Angles was acting alone, when he made the terroristic threat.

Fresno State Chief of Police David Huerta said they took quick action at the time.

“One of the things that jumps out – it happens really fast, you don’t really have time to think about it, you just have to get on it.” – David Huerta, Fresno State Chief Of Police.

Pryor faces up to 16 months in custody, but could get probation.

Sentencing takes place in August.
