(KMJ) – The Board of Trustees of the State Center Community College District named Dr. Carole S. Goldsmith as the new President of Fresno City College. They did so at its July 5, 2016 board meeting.
Dr. Goldsmith is the current president at West Hills College in Coalinga and has over 25 years of higher education experience with many of those years in senior leadership positions.
A first-generation college student from Visalia, Dr. Goldsmith has earned her B.A. in history from Fresno State, her M.S. in educational administration from National University in Fresno, and her doctorate in educational leadership from the joint doctoral program at UC Davis and Fresno State.
She will start her position at Fresno City College on August 1, 2016.
