FRESNO (KMJ) – PG&E handing over a check to the City of Fresno Parks Department.

The 30,000 dollar grant will fund two programs including ‘Movies in the Park.’

“The City of Madera does a similar program with ‘Movies in the Park’ where they offer free movies, sometimes they will have snacks, for families to go out typically on a Friday night – it’s just a low cost entertainment option for families with small children.” – Denny Boyles, PG&E Spokesperson.

PG&E has also granted $126,800 to the Fresno Parks Department in the last decade to help provide safe outdoor activities to area youth.
