FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Nutritionists have long advised replacing processed white grains with whole grains.

According to the latest research that advice could result in a longer life.

Experts from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health say people who eat 3 or more servings of whole grains each day, have a 20 percent lower risk of premature death, especially due to cardiovascular disease.
