(KMJ) – Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies continue to investigate the discovery of a body in an almond orchard.
The orchard’s owner discovered the body of the man around One o’clock Sunday afternoon in the area of Leonard and McKinley. At this point, Sheriff’s Investigators say the death is being treated as a homicide. But it is unknown how long it was in the orchard.
Detectives will not release the identification of the man until positive identification has been made by the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office and his next of kin is notified.
