(KMJ) – Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a man who robbed a Selma store clerk at gunpoint.
Around 6:15 pm, Sunday April 24th, Deputies say a man walked inside the EZ Stop Mini Market located at 11024 S. Fowler Ave. in Selma. He drew a handgun and pointed it at the clerk, demanding money. The employee immediately ran out the backdoor of the store.
The suspect then picked up a cash register off the counter, yanked out the cords, and carried the register outside and through the parking lot while talking on his phone. He met up with a car driving on S. Fowler Ave., got into the passenger seat and the car sped away.
The suspect (pictured above in a security video still) is described as black, late teens to early 20s, 5’7”, medium build, wearing a Nike beanie and bandana over his face. The car he fled in is possibly a tan or cream colored Lincoln Town Car with a possible partial plate of “5P”.
Anyone with additional information on the suspect in this case is asked to please contact rime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867). All tips will remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a cash reward
