(KMJ) One of the local suspects in an alleged hate crime against an elderly Sikh man has committed suicide.
On Friday, Fresno County Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti confirmed the death of 17 year old Alexis Mendoza. He had taken his life a few days prior to the announcement.
Mendoza and 23-year-old Daniel Wilson had been charged with striking 68-year-old Amrick Singh with a car in December 2015.
