(KMJ) – Fresno Police did not have a difficult search to nab the man accused of robbing a city bank on Monday.
Officers say witnesses gave a very accurate description to the man who approached a teller at the Union Bank branch location on the 1400 block of Kern Street in Fresno’s Chinatown. That man, identified as 51-year old James Kelsey walked into the bank carrying a hospital bag and a cane. He reportedly got away with less than $100.
A short time later, Police say Officers saw Kelsey standing outside a near-by Market, still holding the bag and cane. He was leaning against the wall and put up no struggle when approached by Police.
Kelsey, who is on federal probation for bank robbery, was booked into the Fresno County Jail for bank robbery.
