FRESNO (KMJ) — A live webcam of a bald eagle nest in the channel islands, has filmed two new eagle chicks.
Officials at the national park say the first egg hatched Saturday, and the second broke out on Monday.
The effort to bring the species back to the islands has been on for just over a decade, and since 2006 the birds have re-established territories on most of the eight islands.
