Fresno Police & Fire Step Up to Repair Damaged Home

HOME - HOME DEPOT

(KMJ) – A Hit and Run accident on Saturday, March 5th left homeowner Epifina Garcia with a gaping hole in her garage. And, without insurance, Garcia said she had no way of paying for the repairs.

But Officers from the Fresno Police and Crews from Fresno Fire stepped up to change that. Fresno Police went to the Home Depot on Kings Canyon and spoke with the manager. He then agreed to donate the lumber necessary to make temporary repairs.

Fresno Fire loaded the sheets of wood into the back of an engine and hauled it back to the home at 233 Mariposa at Madison. There, Fresno Fire crews unloaded the materials and made the temporary repairs to the garage.
