Sierra High Coach, Players Arrested in Burglary Plot

An alert pawn shop employee is to thank — in a local case of stolen musical instruments.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says two 16-year-old Sierra High basketball players stole the equipment from a house in Auberry, two weeks ago.

They allegedly gave the loot to their 27 year old Sierra High basketball Coach Anthony Moschella try to sell off stolen musical instruments.  He was arrested inside a Clovis pawn shop just hours after the victim had stopped by to inform employees of the theft.

Moschella and the teens face several felony charges.  Moschella has posted bail.  His status as a basketball coach at Sierra High is unclear.
