FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Millennials experience some degree of fear, when it comes to preparing their taxes.

According to a new NerdWallet and Harris Poll survey, 80 percent of taxpayers between 18 and 34, say they’re unsure about the process. Almost a quarter are nervous about making a mistake.

A somewhat surprising finding: Millennials are the age group most likely to use the mail for their tax returns.

NerdWallet says overall the findings make sense, given that millennials tend have less experience with the tax code, and less money to get professional help.
