FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The saying “modesty is the policy,” appears to apply rather well to your exercise habits.
According to a new study published in the journal Current Biology, moderate exercise — the equivalent to walking a couple miles a day — is likely the best way to burn extra calories.
Researchers say anything beyond that, the body seems to adapt its metabolism.
They add that exercise by itself is not all that great for weight loss. But, it does boost weight loss from diet changes, and helps to keep those pounds off.
