A Fresno lawyer has videotaped evidence of an alleged sex act during a surgery, a nurse who witnessed the incident is filing a lawsuit.
Attorney Kevin Little says his office is representing a female worker at Adventist Medical Center in Hanford, and that she has been sexually harassed and assaulted by two health providers, a doctor and anesthesiologist.
Little released video to the media on Thursday, of one alleged incident which he says was recorded by the nurse on her cell phone during a surgical procedure.
“My client, took the video – this was the third or the 4th time he has done this in the surgery room – she felt the need to document it not only protect herself but protect the patients.” -Attorney Kevin Little.
Little says the case was filed last August, refiled in October, and he says he has reported it to the Board of Registered Nurses.
“We have reported this to The Board of Registered Nurses and unfortunately they have not done anything, either.” – Attorney Kevin Little.
Little says there will be a hearing on January 26th, when the case goes before the Kings County Court.
The Marketing Office for Adventist Medical Center – Hanford has released the following statement:

For the protection of all our employees and patients, we actively seek to prevent sexual harassment with information and policies in our employee handbook as well as training for all our employees. All complaints are treated seriously and kept as confidential as possible. In addition, our policy expressly forbids any retaliation against employees for reporting sexual harassment.
