Two resolutions will go in front of Fresno City Council, Thursday, December 10th to address blight in the city.
Fresno City Councilors Clint Olivier and Esmeralda Soria brainstormed what to do about vacant lots in South Fresno, now, they’re bringing two resolutions to City Council.
The first one is basically a commercial build act which waives development impact fees for project on lots where there’ won’t be any impact.
The second resolution is a targeted fee waiver that would be incentive for people to develop in blighted areas like transportation corridors – where they need grocery stores and doctors offices – but there are none.
