The married couple left their baby with grandma while they carried out the deadliest mass shooting in the US since Sandy Hook.
Farook, a U.S. citizen, and his wife, a permanent resident, gunned down 14 people at a holiday party Wednesday at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California.
The couple was later killed in a shootout with police.
The attackers’ specific motives remain unclear, but there are indications that it was a terrorist attack.
