FRESNO (KMJ) — Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a wire thieves in a very distinctive vehicle.
Two men were seen driving a small red hatchback with a white hood, black fenders and a black front bumper.
They were seen backing up to scrap pile and loaded 12ft of telephone wire into the back.
The theft took place at 10600 E. Mountain View Ave in Selma, close to the intersection of Mountain View Avenue and Highway 99.
The cable is valued at $1200 dollars and has the “Verizon” company name printed on the outside.
Local recycling centers are being asked to remain alert.
