(KMJ) – Fresno Police were called to the campus of Roosevelt High School over the weekend after a security guard found a broken window.
Sunday, officers search the campus, located at 4250 E. Tulare Avenue. And they found 32-year old Vincent Garcia hiding between two buildings. Officers say he was pretending to be asleep.
Fresno Police say the validated gang member was still wearing latex gloves and had in his possession of a screwdriver and bolt cutters. He admitted his intention was to steal something that he could later sell. But Garcia said the security guard spooked him therefore he was not able to make off with any property.
Vincent Garcia was arrested and booked at the Fresno County Jail for burglary and possession of burglary tools.
