(KMJ) – A celebration honoring the life and legacy of Clovis Unified founding Superintendent Floyd “Doc” Buchanan will be held Thursday at Buchanan High School. It’s located at 1560 North Minnewawa Avenue in Clovis.
Memorabilia, photos and a short video will be displayed at the celebration which begins at 4:30 p.m.
Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own photos of Buchanan to post on a special sharing wall.
Doc Buchanan died on August 11th at the age of 91.
