Tip Leads to Arrest of 2011Murder Suspect

(KMJ) – A tip given to Kings County law enforcement late last week, leads to the arrest of a suspect wanted in a 2011 murder in Lemoore.

On November 28, 2011 Lemoore police officers responded to the 200 block of Meadow Place.  There  22 year old Isaac Donez was shot multiple gunshot wounds to his midsection and did not survive.

Santiago Zamora, who was 18 years old at the time, was identified as the suspect but was not located.

. Lemoore police obtained an arrest warrant for Zamora but he either fled or went into hiding. Lemoore detectives have followed up on numerous leads and sightings over the past four years but Zamora was never located.

A recent tip indicated that Zamora was in Kings County. With the assistance of the Hanford Police Department, Kings County Sheriff’s Office, Kings County Gang Task Force, Kings County Narcotics Task Force, and the Kings County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. team, Zamora was taken into custody at a residence in the 10000 block of Aster Circle in Armona on Friday, October 16th.
