FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The U.S. Forest Service is being sued by environmental groups, who allege that the agency has allowed Nestle to draw water from a creek in the San Bernardino mountains, under a permit that expired 25 years ago.

The Story of Stuff Project claims that while Californians have dramatically reduced water use amid the drought, Nestle has refused to do its part.

However, the U.S. Forest Service is said to be considering interim limits, amid the severe shortage of water.
