FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The San Joaquin Valley Business Conditions Index rose to 55 in September, up from 53.9 in August, indicating positive and solid growth into 2016.
Produced by Fresno State’s Craig School of Business, the survey examines employment, business confidence, trade, and other factors.
The regional hiring gauge points to further growth, although confidence is down, amid global economic weakness.
Still, the valley is on track for expansion in the coming months.
