Over 300 men, most of whom have been cultivating their epic facial hair since your before your local neighborhood artisanal mustache wax purveyor was born, showcased their sweet beards this week at the World Beard And Moustache Championships in Austria.
The event held in the small Salzburg town of Leogang drew some amazing examples of facial hair in sixteen different categories that you didn’t even know existed:
Mustache: Natural, Dali, English, Imperial, Hungarian, freestyle
Partial beard: Goatee, musketeer, Fu Manchu, goatee freestyle, imperial partial beard/Kaiser beard, partial beard freestyle with sideburns
Full beard: full beard natural, full beard styled mustache, Verdi, Garibaldi, and the big daddy of them all, the full beard freestyle
