(KMJ) Developing… A deadly accident is under investigation in central Fresno. A pickup truck struck a motorcycle just before 9am Monday, bringing traffic to a halt at Blackstone and Cornell. A man and a woman on the bike were severely injured. “The male is possibly deceased, but I haven’t confirmed that yet,” Lt. Joe Gomez told KMJ News, at 9:30am.
Police later confirmed Monday afternoon that the 54 year-old male did not survive his injuries.
The female was in critical condition but her injuries were not considered life-threatening at the time.
FPD tells KMJ News that the Harley Davidson motorcycle was going about 70 mph at the time of the crash. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
