Evangel Home celebrates it’s 60th year in existence in Fresno.
The non-profit organization has been a haven for homeless women and children since 1955, helping both poor women on their way up and women of means on their way down -to get their feet back on the ground.
In addition to providing shelter, the Christian based organization prepares and serves three meals a day, gives clothing and necessary personal items, and offers counseling.
The Fresno County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution in honor of the 60th year anniversary of the Fresno Evangel home and expressed their appreciation of Gerre Brenneman (pictured below) for her outstanding leadership and service to the Fresno community.
