A giant flag of Old Glory next to the 168 Freeway in Clovis may be forced to come down.
The flag flies from a cell tower at Hedrick’s Chevrolet on Willow and Shaw.
“I get a lot of positive comments about people driving down the 168 people love it. and even flying at half staff people will comment and say what’s going on –what did i miss on the news. – Brett Hedricks, Co-Owner, Hedrick’s Chevrolet.
Now, the news is that managers received a notice to put up an antenna on the tower – which would mean taking down the flag.
Brett Hedricks says there’s a meeting tonight (August 27, 2015) in the Clovis City Council Chamber at 6:00pm.
He hopes the people of Clovis will show their love for the flag and show up to the hearing.
Protest letters can also be emailed to the City’s Bryan Araki by 3:00pm, this afternoon – 8/27/2015.
