(KMJ) Hanford Police are searching for the driver of an SUV who mowed down two homeless people Monday night. Officers say Raymond Garcia and Kristy Navarro were riding their bicycles along 10 1/2 Avenue around 10:30pm when the vehicle struck the pair – sending them flying nearly 200 feet from the spot of the impact.
Garcia and Navarro are currently hospitalized. Navarro is pregnant. There is no update on the condition of her unborn child.
Investigators are looking for a black Cadillac Escalade with front end damage. There is no description of the suspect driver.
