A 15 year old boy is jailed and facing numerous charges after Fresno Police say he triggered a lockdown at Hoover High School Wednesday morning.

Fresno Police Spokesperson Lt. Joe Gomez tells KMJ News that a 15 year old student came at school Monday for the first day of school – and refused to go to class.  He was told to go home, and was kicked off campus.  Wednesday, he showed up and was met by the security officer who told him to go to the office.

That’s when officials say the teen pulled up his shirt and showed the officer a gun, pulled it out, racked it and then challenged the officer saying “You want some of this?!”

The unidentified teen took off running south of the campus into the neighborhood at 1st and Barstow.  He was tracked down a short time later and arrested.

The gun, it turns out, was an airsoft pistol which had been modified to look more realistic.

He will face charges of probation violation, brandishing a handgun, and terroristic threats.  Nobody was hurt.
