FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Fewer than one in five working Americans are saving more retirement than were last year, according to a new Bankrate survey.
14% are saving less than they were in 2014, while the majority, 55%, are putting away the same amount.
401 (k) contribution limits have increased for 2015, allowing greater savings for the golden years.
The survey also found that while feelings of job security have rebounded, the same can’t be said for most American’s overall financial situation.
