Fresno State’s branding is taking to the skies.
Bulldog 1, the new blimp, the really, really big, red blimp will provide 6,000 feet of space for advertisers, and some great branding for Fresno State.
Chris Boling from Boling Air Media – who provided the blimp says it was a great media move.
Boling’s team did the market research and found 98% of people like blimps, and Fresno State will benefit from a very visible, recognizable symbol.
Fresno State hopes that the love for aircraft will help them with their fan experience and boost attendance.
There are hopes that maybe it will even catch the attention of the country and bring focus to Bulldog Athletics.
Fresno State Assistant Athletic Director Jason Clay said ESPN and other national media outlets have already asked them to send footage.
You will see the blimp throughout the Valley, up in the air and on game days.
Grab your camera and take a selfie – Clay says they will soon announce a contest where fans can win tickets by posting their selfie on an FSU social media page.
