Keep up the good work!
That’s the news from the City of Fresno about the Stage 2 watering restrictions.
The number of Fresno customers who are watering every day has dropped.
“It looks like almost everyone has taken the advice to “learn to count to 2.” – Mark Standriff, City of Fresno Director of Communications and Public Affairs.
Fresno is close to the state’s water reduction requirements.
“Thanks to your help in reminding audiences about our Stage 2 watering restrictions, after looking at the consumption numbers for the first half of July, so far we’ve dropped 27.8% compared to July 2013. That’s right on the edge of the 28% reduction that the state has mandated for Fresno before February 2016.” – Mark Standriff, City of Fresno Director of Communications and Public Affairs.
The City says they still need help pushing conservation throughout the summer months.
