If you shoot off fireworks,,, you pollute the air
“We’re doing ok, air quality of definitely improving but it’s going take a collective shift including moving away from fireworks to continue that improvement -Heather Heinks, Valley Air Spokesperson.
The Valley Air District suggests cutting back on personal fireworks.
It’s hard to see the soot, ash and metals, but Valley Air District Spokesperson Heather Heinks says they cause serious health problems like heart attacks and stroke — especially to people with existing respiratory conditions, the elderly, and small children.
So rather than using personal fireworks: “We know of several agencies that are converting to laser shows and there are just multiple opportunities to show your patriotism without contributing to air pollution and making it hard for your friends to breathe.” – Heather Heinks,Valley Air District Spokesperson
See a laser show at Bass Lake or watch fireworks at the Grizzlies, Island Water Park or the Kerman Festival of the Spirit
