FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Residential water use dropped almost 29% across California in May, compared to same month in 2013.
The Water Resources Control Board says that’s more than double the savings seen in April.
Here in Fresno, water use dropped 33% in May.
But city spokesman Mark Standriff tells KMJ News:
Those restrictions are being relaxed for the the 4th of July.
Fresno and Clovis residents may hose down the lawn to reduce the risk of a blaze during the fireworks.
