Valley Congressman David Valadao introduced legislation to increase water storage in California.
The bill amends the reclamation safety of dams act of 1978 and it authorizes the interior department to develop additional projects.
Congressman Valadao says our state’s water crisis is an issue caused by naturally occurring weather patterns, he also points out that destructive environmental regulations, and burdensome government bureaucracy have also played major roles.
He believes congress can expand our water infrastructure and storage to ensure a reliable water supply for future years.
