(KMJ) A man was shot and killed Thursday afternoon after allegedly breaking into a man’s apartment in Northwest Fresno. And, the resident says it was a case of self defense.
The deadly incident happened around 4:30pm at the Stonegate Apartments at Blythe & Ashlan Aves. Fresno Police say a resident found an apparent homeless man sitting on his couch – mumbling to himself. The two got into an argument and shots were fired.
The unidentified man tried to flee after being shot, but fell just outside of the apartment and died. He has not been identified.
No charges have been filed against the gunman.
