(KMJ) New child molestation charges are added against a troubled North Valley pediatrician.
35-year old Carlos Teran Miranda was already accused of putting a video camera in a restroom snd filming people, including children, who used it at a Merced medical clinic.
He was arrested in February after the camera was found by Merced Police.
Teran Miranda has since pled not guilty to possession of child pornography and invasion of privacy.
But now investigators say three children — two boys ages six and eight and a girl – age nine — have all stated he molested them during medical exams in November 2014.
That prompted the Merced County District Attorney to file three new felony charges against him.
Those counts of committing lewd acts on children were filed last week.
Teran Miranda remains in custody in lieu of $475,000 bail.
