(KMJ) A Fresno family of five is alive thanks to quick action by a trio of police officers.
FPD says a fire broke out inside a home on West Hagler Ave. around 1am Monday.
Three Fresno Police officers were the first on scene and pulled the family of two adults and three children to safety. One officer suffered smoke inhalation and was hospitalized.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
