FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — As the economy continues to pick up speed, employees are being presented with better job offers.
While that’s beneficial, it’s left some companies scrambling to maintain their best.
According to a new survey by the staffing firm Accounttemps, 79% of respondents are taking action improve employee retention.
In addition to raises, they’re also investing in development and training programs, as well as enhancing benefits.
Experts say businesses can lose their competitive edge, if they allow their other companies to snatch up their talent.
