Fresno County sheriff’s deputies are looking for two men they say tried to car-jack a man in Southeast Fresno … Deputies say a man was on his way home from work about 3:00 a.m. yesterday morning when he pulled over on Fig Avenue to answer a phone call.
That’s when he says two men got out of an SUV, dragged him out of his car, hit him in the face with a gun and threw him in the trunk of the car.
The victim told police they drove the car to a vineyard near Clayton and Fig … When the car stopped, the victim says he was able to get out of the trunk and run to a nearby home to call 911 … Deputies say the men ditched the car and drove away in a black SUV.
Deputies say the man suffered facial wounds.
