Fresno Police say a drug addict was arrested and confessed to breaking into a home early Wednesday morning in order to feed his habit. 42 year old Jose Hernandez, according to FPD, was caught crawling into the bedroom window of a young girl on East Ventura Ave.
The child’s father confronted the burglar who tried to flee, but not before threatening the homeowner. Hernandez was eventually arrested near First & Platt. The victim says his daughter is autistic.
FPD says Hernandez has an extensive history of theft and drug possession charges and was booked into the Fresno County Jail for burglary and for making criminal threats.
