FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Fast-food workers in Fresno and throughout the nation are on strike, calling for higher wages.
Critics say the employees should get a better education if they want to earn more money, but activists say that view is “ignorant.”
California’s minimum wage is $9 an hour.
The fast-food workers say that’s not enough to support a family. and are calling for at least $15 an hour.
